About Touch of Heaven

Touch of Heaven began with a divine encounter in 1997. While praying outside her pastor’s office before a Sunday service, Judith Lyon Kesselman had a vision: she saw Christ in His glory, holding a sword. In the vision, He gently touched her shoulders with the sword and named the ministry “Touch of Heaven.” At that same moment, her husband Michael heard the same words. The ministry was born that day—first incorporated in Maryland, and now operating as an LLC based in South Carolina.

Today, Touch of Heaven serves as a spiritual hub—offering teaching, encouragement, and insight rooted in the truth of God's Word. Led by Judith, the ministry is devoted to guiding individuals on their journey of faith and helping them discover God's purpose for their lives.

A Life of Obedience and Intercession

Judith’s journey has been marked by extraordinary moments of obedience, prayer, and mission:

  • She was called by God in the 1990s to fast and pray five days a week, often staying overnight in a Baltimore sanctuary—interceding for the city’s salvation.

  • In 1996, she prayed in Israel for 21 days, joining 1,000 intercessors for 10 of those days.

  • In 1997, she traveled to Argentina to intercede for a city known as the "Seat of Satan." After 18 days of prayer, revival swept through the area with evangelist Ed Silvoso.

  • From 1997 to 2000, she helped spread Lighthouse Evangelism to over 60 Baltimore congregations and joined the National Lighthouse Facilitation Council for Mission America.

  • She played a key role in mobilizing Baltimore churches for the Beyond ’99 Campaign and helped organize the Book of Hope outreach, which distributed over 200,000 gospel booklets.

  • Judith helped lead the first Jesus Day Walk and Gathering, uniting 90 congregations on Pentecost 2000.

  • She hosted interdenominational prayer conferences, initiated Global Day of Prayer events (2005–2012), and was invited to national consultations such as the Citywide Prayer Leaders meeting at the Empire State Building in 2002.

Though ordained as a pastor, Judith identifies most deeply as a teacher—devoted to equipping the Body of Christ and writing books that prepare the Church for the days ahead.
